I had no problem with my set up, accept gap was to high on my plugs, and the RPM's kinda went to crap after 5k, but it was 52 degree's, I ran 105 octane, at 17psi and did 392.7rwhp or 369.8rwhp corrected and 451.3 TQ or 424.9 corrected. I more than know the 3" is over kill, I'm planning and looking at the big picture ( turbo's ). Since turbo's are there own back pressure and no cats stopping the exhaust. It's like running open headers right? So even with a size difference of 1/2 inch, how's it gain in power? I read your post many times about air heating up and that the smaller pipe might move it out faster, right? Something like that? But it didn't seem to hurt me and I dyno'd the car two weeks before this one at 15psi, same 105 octane and got 385rwhp. Stock turbo's, stock injectors, stock intercoolers, stock timing, stock radiator. They had it hooked upto a O2 senors and the car was still running rich at 17psi, how's that on stock CC's?
STAGE V++++ Going to XIII and beyond :) |
